Project ICP members Jennifer Hopwood, Rufus Isaacs, Jason Gibbs, and Keith Mason volunteered at the MSU Bee Palooza to help spread positive messages about pollinators.
The free one day event drew people to the MSU Horticultural Demonstration Gardens to learn about wild bees, honey bees, bumble bees (complete with cages of male bees to put your arm into!), building solitary bee nests for the garden, gardening for bees, and the importance of bees for our food. Kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt and the face-painting too.
